Yeah, my fingers are crossed. The baseline setting worked fine. I am not a compression expert but how does baseline impact streaming?

Man,it went nuts!I went to legal and it’s amazing how little everyone from the Chief Legal counsel on down knows about these types of issues.
They finally sent it to out side counsel. ($$$$$) and came back with a “your are 100% right” and thanked me. Now there’s a few folks not very happy with me but I can stand the rain. BTW at this company it’s “Ethics and Compliance month. Go figure. Thanks to all for your help and support.
I am working on Sonic Fire Pro as we speak.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks Michael,

I ended up shooting at 720p 60. Now I can’t make a multiclip in FCP. Can I convert the frame rate to 24p to match the other cameras without causing a loss in quality. If so, what’s the best way to do it?

    Hi,
Couple of things caught my interest on this thread. One, is there an in depth video tutorial out there somewhere that could step someone through all the ins and outs or best practices using Wirecast? Also, could you elaborate on how you are using the MXO2 with Wirecast? Are you using it to display out or getting the camera in. I have a new Sony NXCAM that does not have firewire out so I haven’t been using it. I am using Wirecast 4.01.

    Thanks in advance.

January 16, 2011 at 5:06 pm in reply to: Wirecast keeps activating iSight

I upgraded to Wirecast 4.01.(not Pro) I am using a Macbook Pro Intel. I switched to a Panasonic 100a SD from a Sony Z1U camera and it’s working fine now. I thought the problem was the iSight. I never noticed whether the green light near the iSight was on or off before. The problem is now that it won’t find either one of of my Sony Z1U cameras. I have the HDV upgrade. I tried Wirecast 4.01 and then reverted to 4.0 on an identical laptop and I’m getting the same problem.

I’m having a lost weekend. Love your cat by the way. Looks like he kinda runs the place:) I’m using Mac Pro to a Macbook pro and trying all kinds of things. So I can use H264? Right now I’m making a ProRes 320 by 180 and hoping for the best. I will be using the Wirecaster to highlight my video work with clients and it’s really giving me a run for my money. Some of the clips just stop on the last frame and some loop.
