I have a three camera shoot coming up on Tuesday. I have two older JVC 100 720-24p cameras and my NXcam. My question is: What’s the best way to set the NXCAM to mix on an FCP timeline? 720p-60? 1080p-24? What workarounds will I have to implement if any? I am trying to pick up two more NXCAMs but with the problems in Japan, I haven’t had much luck.
    Thanks in advance.

You’ll want to shoot 1080-24p with the NXCAM. In this situation, matching the frame rate is more important than matching the resolution.

    Thanks Michael,

I ended up shooting at 720p 60. Now I can’t make a multiclip in FCP. Can I convert the frame rate to 24p to match the other cameras without causing a loss in quality. If so, what’s the best way to do it?
