I have the Senn. 300 series and I just use the belt clip on the receiver to attach it to the strap on the lens. The 500 is bigger though.

Jeff, I think you are right that the AMD card is the problem. I disabled it and used the on board Intel gfx and I could render MP4 using the Sony codecs. I could not get the Main Concept template to work. Thanks.

I have noticed some issues on Youtube with what looks like dropped frames. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m sure bandwidth can become an issue. I see what you mean about pans.
That looks like dropped frames. I wish I had a solution for you. Seems like you have tried everything. You have probably already looked at this: https://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=74662

I only have V. 8 to go back to. I can try another build of V. 11.
    Thanks.

I have GPU assist turned off. I can render with Vegas 8 but not 11.
My laptop is HP and they say the graphics card driver is up to date,
but AMD has a newer version (they won’t release it to me, they say contact HP).

I have tried many different ones. Some work and some don’t. I didn’t get the crashing until recently. WMP would not play some of the files, so it must have been a codec thing. I will install the latest Codec pack for Win 7. What works best for you with MP4? Thanks.

  • It’s very difficult to do with a moving object from a regular video. You would need to do a traveling matte. Very time consuming

  • Yes, not too happy with my ATI Radeon with Vegas.

One of the techs at Sony in Teaneck, NJ told me I needed to send the EX1 in if it was below v1.13. I was on 1.11. They said it had to be updated in increments. I am now on v1.26.
