That’ll be the Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 (100312-3L) 2048MB PCIe x16 Gen 2.1 Eyefinity 6 Edition.
I’ve got an nVidia Card. Read about the usage of the two diffferent makers. It’s not straightforward. Really it’s not.

I can’t comment on compatibility either but if you ever plan to use other video programs or graphics programs (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, etc.) I would get an NVIDIA card. ATI is not well supported by video applications in general because it doesn’t have CUDA support which seems to be the standard that everyone is using these days (and is only available from NVIDIA).
