… and it looks like my iPhone is inserting characters before every apostrophe when I post to the COW.
If problems happen in groups of three, I hope the third one is as minor as these two.

Thanks for reply Zane. Everything is up to date and I havn\’t heard of anyone else experiencing the problem. I\’ll boot the machine from an external drive when I get in this morning to see if it\’s o.s. related.

For the sound, you might want to start by applying the AUPitch filter and slightly ramp the pitch up and down or actually ramp the speed up and down or both, add a little reverb and you should be off to a good start.

Maybe I should do some real world research after work.

Thanks for taking the time guys, the problem turned out to be hardware related. The input I was using was not seeing timecode. Switching to the other input got me back on the air.

My son goes to Columbia College in Chicago, so you can thank me for contributing a lot of money to your beautiful city.

Since there is no problem when you create a new project and the problem follows your current project, I would try to isolate corrupt media by moving small segments into the new project that works fine.

I would also create a new sequence and copy/paste all of the clips into it.

Sounds like a corrupt project file, copy everything from the project that’s acting up into a new project.

80MB is a good size project file, if you select all before copying be patient, you’ll probably get a beachball for 20 seconds or so.

I did uninstall the KONA driver, but didn’t do the re-boot sequence that you suggest. I’ll give it a try.

Nattress (https://www.nattress.com) makes a film look plugin that emulates the framerate and colorimetry of film, it has quite a few presets and cranks to tweak until you’re happy with the look.

Hi Jeremy,

The AJA KONA 3 DVCProHD VFR presets have stopped removing duplicate frames. I’m not sure if it stopped working after the FCS update or the AJA update.

I installed this on a clone of the system drive to check it out so no damage has been done. If no one else is seeing the problem, it might be a good excuse to burn the weekend and do a clean install.
