Lost brightness control on second monitor
When I open my display preferences, it shows both control panels, but the brightness control for the second monitor is missing. The best I can tell it happened after installing Snow Leopard.
My graphics board is a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT and the machine is a 2 x 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon.Bob Auiler | bo********@**************ve.com

Thanks for reply Zane. Everything is up to date and I havn\’t heard of anyone else experiencing the problem. I\’ll boot the machine from an external drive when I get in this morning to see if it\’s o.s. related.

… and it looks like my iPhone is inserting characters before every apostrophe when I post to the COW.

Did you ever get a solution for this?
I just lost the SysPrefs brightness control for my second monitor, an Apple aluminum Cinema 24 display, after updating to 10.6.3 v1.1.
