    Yes….
Are there any formats which come on MOST Windows PCs which would play a QT (or other format) Motion movie without having to add a codec before playing them?

Open your gradient arrow and double click on one of the squares at the bottom of your gradient, It will bring up the color circle. Also, control click on the bottom ribbon of your gradient line. It will add control points on your gradient line.

You might try highlighting your image (selecting it) and look in the timeline to see if your playhead falls within the images “in and out” times. Also, check your project pane to see if any fade or opacity behaviors have been added. Also, change the view to 50% and see if your motion lines have put your images off the canvas at your selected time…
any of these could cause your problem

Thanks Mark, but I’ve already tried that, but I still must be doing something wrong.
When the keyframes are showing (diamonds are visible) with the object above them, and I select all the keyframes in a group and slide them, they still keep the same length. They are just moved to a different position. If I select one key, it just moves the one key. I still haven’t been able to condense the in/time out points to shorten the time period of the entire series of keys. All I have been able to do is either move the entire series or clip off the end ones.

Yes, I am doing some corner pinning on layers. There must be a reason for not having the positions display canvas viewing coordinates… or a way to figure out the corresponding points on multiple layers, but I haven’t found the info in the PDF Manual.

Maybe a duplicate layer for the bill, and a layer for the text, and adjust opacity…

there is probably a much easier way, but you could save as QT and replace it with that…

    Thanks Specialcase…
Worked like a charm. I keep looking for info that would give the sizes. I keep looking for a fill in space for width and height.. then find those percentages. I had to figure a way to count to 2 just to get the upgrade from Motion 1… now I’m supposed to learn percentages. I’m beginning to think this is Apple’s little plot to attempt to get people to learn Math… 🙂
    Thanks again!
