  • Thanks, Dan! Once again, amazing stuff I know I could just never come up with. Testing it out now and it seems to work fine

I realize this is a very old post – but did you ever get a solution? We’re currently looking for exactly what you’re describing.

This actually doesnt seem to be fixing the problem.

I’ve got a “hair object” and a “sunglasses object” that both have a Parent Constraint tag to “Head Control”

They both have an Expression priority at “1” while the Head Control has a PSR at priority “0”

but I’m still getting the problem. any thoughts?

    Cinema 11.5

I’m using the NSTC DV preset, so 72 ppi (but i’m not sure of the rest) I’ve tried both straight and premultiplied, and yes the jaggies are still there changing the pixel aspect.

I’ve also tried to boost the anti-aliasing, the ppi to 150, 24 bit dithering. Nothing seems to make a huge difference.

thanks for the response. I never knew what that priority option was. I will try this out, I imagine it is what’s causing the problem

    radical. that did it!

  • Holy cow. Seems to be working. I have the hardest time understanding For loops. I know when I need to use them, but they just don’t click.

Thanks, Dan. I’m doing my best to wrap my head around this one. Seems like after your error prevention code, it’s actually not too bad.

wow, i’m dumb. i hate filling up forum space with dumb questions, sorry.

Select “Pre-Pass Only” under the Irradiance Cache File tab in your GI settings.
It works in the straight render, but I don’t think it will work with Multi-Pass.

Hmm, this def does the trick. I guess I didnt realize it could be so simple. I thought text made things more complicated.

    thanks guys!
