OT: CMS for client review of spots
Does anyone know of a good content management system for uploading spots for client approval?
Here’s what we currently do:
We have several clients for whom we produce numerous spots which must be reviewed and approved. Currently, we have a somewhat clunky .htaccess system, whereby we upload spots to a directory, password protect that directory with .htaccess, manually edit the index.html file for that directory, and have the client login and download the spot(s) for review.
What we want to do:
What we are looking for is an automated system that makes this process easier. At the very least, a well-built content management system that allows us to create unique users, directories dedicated to those users (only), and makes it easy to upload spots to those directories. Does anyone know of such a system? The biggest issue is having multiple users, and directories which are specific to those users (with restricted access for them alone), and not having to manually edit any HTML.
If anyone can help us with this it is greatly appreciated! Or if anyone has any suggestions or experience with client review of spots online, we’d be interested in hearing about alternatives.

I realize this is a very old post – but did you ever get a solution? We’re currently looking for exactly what you’re describing.
