i dont really know what u mean, but if ur suggesting buying a new hardrive, then i cant do that.

Yeah, the timeline bar is grey, i’ve tried prores 422, prores 422 HQ, 422 interlaced, 422 progressive, all of them basically. im just playing off the regular computer hardrive (if that makes sense-im not sure) and i have one track playing at once. if i add an effect to the track, i render it out, and then i get the dropped frames during playback message.

it is apple prores 422,
i’ve tried all the timeline settings and i still get dropped frames,
just one track at a time,
dont know the answer to the hard drive question,
not playing out to a video monitor,
it’s red.

i had already used Compressor to convert the clips to prores 422 and these still did not work.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! but since I’ve never used Compressor, do you know how to actually convert it to pro res 422?

Im not sure how much this will help but you could try feathering the edges of the picture, and then the wobbling may not be visible.

Thanks so much for your input but there’s no plugin so im trying to convert the files to ones that will be recognized in log and transfer through Compressor.
Do you happen to know what files i should convert to in Compressor?
