Final Cut Pro dropped frames
Well this will be my fifth question asked regarding dropped frames so i’ll restate everything.
I have a Nikon S8100 which does not get recognized by FCP’s log and tranfer window. so, i simply dragged the .MOV clips into the timeline from iPhoto. This gave me a lot of dropped frames and made the video choppy when i exported it.
That wasnt acceptable, so then i converted the clips to prores 422 via Compressor. After that, i dragged the clips into the timeline, and i still got dropped frames, but much less than before. And i realized that when i exported the video to quicktime, it wasnt choppy at all, and looked fine.
So does anyone know how to stop getting dropped frames, or will my exported videos be fine even though the dropped frames message pops up?
