    Hi,
I have imported a stills photo into FCP and done a Ken Burns motion effect on it – just slowly zooming into the photo. When playingit back the black at the edge of the photo looks like it is wobbling at the photo gets bigger – I have also used a flicker filter and de-interlaced the image….any other ideas how I acn recify this.
    Many thanks
    Sarah

Sometimes when you have a really large foto and you scale it way down – it can yield less then perfect results.

Like having an image that is 3200 X 2800 and you put it in a 720X486 timeline and move on it from 12% to 22% or something like that. You can resize the image so you animate in the 80 to 100% range.

What are your sequence settings? What codec are you using?
    Format of your stills?

Also, creating a move on stills in motion or AE will yield better results.

Im not sure how much this will help but you could try feathering the edges of the picture, and then the wobbling may not be visible.
