my bad, it’s just that I ticked the “scale to frame size” option in premiere…
i hope that can help someone out there !

wow I didn’t think I would get such an answer.
so yes I could render it to lossless in AE and render the different format in AME, but it would still require 3 renders, so that’s not the point of what i was saying.
Yeah I do understand the difference between pal and ntsc. and I need to make a ntsc DVD out of a Pal camcorder.
My post was not supposed to be disrespectful at all, I just think that this multiple output module feature is really missing in AME.
peace.

ok guys tahnks, that’s what I thought.
Am I right when I say that it sucks ??? I mean if after effect can do it, it shouldn’t be too complicated to enable AME to do it right ?? and it would save soooo much time…
my renders are h.264, then DVD NTSC, then DVD PAL… three time as much render time….
the thing is I don’t really know how multiple output works in AE, so that’s a real question…
-
I meant that I render files in h264 format in AE. Didn’t know it was bad, but actually I most often render it lossless, then compress it in premiere.
and that’s annoying !!!! Why didn’t adobe people allow access to adobe media encoder (the one i use in premiere) from AE ???
-
okay so the secret preference menu solved the problem… no more weird stuffs !!!
but I’d still like to know why it behaves this way, just to understand !
And something else weird happens : when I read the h264 output in vlc, it’s all blueish, but then no problem when importing it into premiere or after effect…. I’m going crazy with not understanding here guys !
thanks for your input on that !

maybe a nice texture with cc sphere and some kind of distorsion….
and dan ebbert came up with a nice expression for that. check andrew kramer’s blue planet.

okay I went through all the forum, watched aaron tutorial on rendering, and i’ll try that tonight.
but there’s a big question here :
WHY WOULD THE RENDER BE DIFFERENT FROM RAM PREVIEW ???
I just don’t get what’s happening during the processing….
-
thanks man !
but unfortunately the same thing occurs even though i don’t have any footage in the comp, just text and particles….
-
maybe the good old preference trick…. cut the preference file from AE folder and paste it on your desktop. It will reset your preferences to default basically

Okay guys I found it. but I swear I’ve looked for it before posting.
So conclusion is … nobody knows !!! how crazy is that ? But I also tend to think that it’s just an endless amount of work…
anyway cheers for the answer, and check his latest vid out : https://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/core%2Bslider/video/x77dlg_core-slider-jam_sport
All the decomp and matrix effect are just insane in it. I played it frame by frame, and it’s just perfect.
props to this guy
