    i did export the file as self contained…so i should try and throw my QT movie out of sync, to resync the realfile…interesting.

    thats what you mean right, because my QT timeline is 100% in sync.

    FYI, I am running a dual 1.8 g5, 2 gigs of ram, fcp studio fully updated and tiger.

    I’m not sure it’s pci-e.

    i usually (and i charge for it) give people a few different versions of files. i have flip4mac and squeeze, so i’ll do an mpeg-1, a quicktime sorenson, a wmv9, and a few different bitrates, etc.

    I havent had many qualms with it, and people like it, becuase often the files do end up on a webpage.

    u mm, if your whites are too hot, won’t broadcast safe bring them down to a “safe” level, thus introducing some grey??

    yeah, i still don’t really know what the culprit was.

    i trashed prefs, updated the OS and QT, etc. and i exported to a local drive, before sending to the raid/server and it’s all good.

    what is the cheapest way for me to get up to 8bit. i have a dual1.8g5 with 2gb ram. i already own a few fw800 lacie drives?

    offtopic, how’s it going chi-ho, you doing anything at 119 braintree street lately, i’ll be there all next week working on some commercials that were shot on an hvx with p2 cards.
