Update to the latest version, a lot of bugs have been ironed out, there’s a memory leak in the version you mentioned (2018.12.3 fixes this). Causes all kind of problems when Media Composer is left for 30 mins or more

Possibly, although internal issue is most likely an Avid issue as well! Maybe a mixture of both, we are a big facility.

We are having problems at work with projects from the same MC versions whole number versions (2018). Not being able to delete attic bin files, for one, so I wouldn’t hold my breath in downgrading whole versions

on a Mac hold option on any of your Track Control Panels (next to the audio waveform) and click Volume. this will enable on all tracks, now all you have to do is highlight each track you want keyframes on for audio and hit the shortcut to make a keyframe (plus sign on my mac keyboard). then once you’ve made all of your keyframes you can just in/out points which keyframes you want to move and you can modify them how ever you want (volume up or down and you can even move them )… hold option and you can move them around collectively or hold command and you can leave them all in place and volume them up or down or sanp to the next peice of audio or video.
it’s a really handy feature!!

Apple can use processors from the Scalable Family for a new Mac Pro, without having to change anything in the xcpm_bootstrap and cpuid_set_info routines
