Thanks for that. The other thing I was wanting was to turn on/off the power windows green/yellow lines so I can see exactly what it looks like but cant find that in shortcuts doc.

Wonder if they realty are 400/500 sustained reliable transfer? I trust Kingston as a quality brand over the other two. Will add to thread if I get any problems etc.
Others seem to talk favorable about them.

Cost a fraction of what Sandisk would of.

Last post was kind of odd, I guess they must work for sandisk. Or maybe they have actually tested all the makes of cards around and found they did not work;).

September 2, 2012 at 3:09 pm in reply to: FCP7 DV/HDV mixed project, should I capture as DVMichael, So if I have HDV and DV n the same timeline I will have to keep re-rendering, regardless if it is a HDV or DV sequence. Also is it easy to change the sequence from DV to HDV.
Lastly are you saying the final thing would look better if I had a DV sequence and HDV footage?

prores is not really an option as I have 2.5TB of footage. Can I recapture in process or do I have to totally rebuild edit?

August 20, 2012 at 4:20 pm in reply to: FCP 6.0.6 constantly crashing and cannot be rebooted after crashKind off. You should try nuking your preferences but before this try setting up a new user and see if you still have the same problem. If the new user works it could well be your preferences. you can use https://www.digitalrebellion.com/prefman/ to remove preferences.
When I has a simeler problem I tried the pref remover and it did not help. I ended up creating a new user and using it instead.
