but dont i loose much quality if i upconvert the sd stuff to 720p???? wouldnt you rather reccommend to shoot the stuff in sd? and are you really sure i wont have probs with the anamorphic issue?

but dont i get in trouble with the anamorph stuff … i thought HD is just available in native 16:9 ???

allright guys! i got you … the footage is interlaced on a digitbeta tape … but the footage was first shot on film and then transfered to digibeta … so the two interlaced fields should match one frame … but when i capure it some of fields get mixed up and i get the “interlaced look” partly (some of the frames look good) … so what should i do?

im using a panasonic aj-d950 … i captured with sdi … didn work … then i tried to transfer it to digibeta tapes via sdi … didnt work also … and i lost the anamorphic format as well! … this makes me crazy!!! please … please help me!!!

thanks tom for your response … and i understand what the 3:2 pulldown is doing … but i still dont know how to fix it? what adjustments i have to apply to the capture presets to fix it????\

hi tom!

i dont get that? is there a solution for that? i dont care if i edit 24p oder 29.97fps … i just wanna have the footage withouth the interlaced interference and a synched audio! is there a way to achieve that??

thanks for your answer … but even if you synch the time of three computers to a billionsecond the wont start the program with little time delays you cant control!

hi arndt … thanks for your answer … yes i got hair … but the thing is that i dont want to animate the spline … i want to animate the plug which is attached on the top of the spline … then i want the spline to act like a real “cable” depending on the movement of the plug … is that even possible?
