    How do I do that?

Sorry, I don’t know what “T/C” is. I’m not super familiar with the ins and outs of Vegas. But I remember in 16 sometimes when I made the timestamps it wouldn’t reset when I split it and sometimes it would.

As for taking a screenshot of my layout do you just mean a screenshot of the program? Or is there a specific thing I need to capture?

Either way, I have found a workaround. One of my old project files still has a timecode that allows me to split it. So I just copy and paste the event from there now. It looks kinda blurry for some reason and the “frames” part of the counter doesn’t seem to match up. But the seconds, minutes, and hours match so it doesn’t really matter. I’ll just crop the “frames” part out. Thanks anyway, though!

    17. Upgraded from 16 recently, but I was having the same problem there.

Actually, I found a more effective method. I set up the timecode in a slim track just above the footage and group them all together with the G key. Then I just delete that layer when I’m done. Don’t know about others but it works for me.

    Okay, thanks.
