Vegas causing audio to peak very slightly
I work for a streamer that has a very sensitive ear when it comes to audio peaking and he’s been complaining about it in my videos recently. For some reason, the audio peaks slightly in Vegas Pro 17 and 19. But NOT in other software like DaVinci Resolve.

I need a solution to this. Because editing in DaVinci isn’t an option since it causes a severe drop in visual quality for some reason and I don’t want to switch to software I’m not used to. Does anyone have a solution?

What if you use a slight compressor to keep it from peaking.

How do I do that?

1. click on “Fx” on the audio track. The compressor should already be there so select it. and then select an appropriate preset or adjust the settings to suit.
