[Anthony Gutierrez] “Can’t find my manual, shot some video in 720/30PN and some SD footage to my 16Gig E-series P2 card and a little red circle with an “x” in the middle popped up in my LCD screen in the top left…?”
Make sure that your camera has the latest firmware.

Try changing your scratch disk location in FCP’s system settings. Sometimes red exclamation means the file could not be saved or the disk is full. Make sure your scratch disk location has the proper permissions for writing.

More glass in front of the sensor means less light is transmitted through it.
Not sure about the adapters for the EX cameras, but a Pro35 adapter on a B4 mount will loose 2 stops. Now I need more light to make the same picture.
A bigger sensor also requires less light to make a picture, so combining a large sensor and no adapter will make the AF100 more sensitive (needing less light) than a camera with a smaller sensor and a 35mm adapter on the front.

Jan is correct about Dashwood Stereo 3D Toolbox being the least expensive plugin for the Mac, at around $100.
Cineform makes a nice tool for 3D called Neo3D (on the Mac). I think it sells for about $3000, and has some nice tools. https://www.cineform.com/neo3d/

You can do this much easier with P2CMS, which is a free download from Panasonic.
https://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/support/resource-center/software-downloads.aspJust use the Metadata Upload feature, and save to the SD card. P2CMS will create the directory structure for you, and populate the data.

[Roli Rivelino] “When I use my FS-100 timelapse is no problem, set the shot interval time and go ahead.
However when I try and use the function with the P2 cards it doesn’t seem to work, I choose the interval time and hit record but it just seems to give me a normal record.”
This is a tricky one to solve, only because it happened to me when I was trying to shoot a sunset from the rooftop of a building under construction.
The external Firewire control for the Firestore needs to be turned off. Then timelapse should work fine.

I am trying to use PP to sync 5D MkII h.264’s before converting to ProRes. I was thinking of exporting ref movie from PP to Compressor, then batch rendering.
What I figured out, was a way to batch export and render to ProRes from the media encoder, so I can bypass compressor and the ref movie.
Thanks for the suggestions.

If you use something like ShotPut Pro, you can use inexpensive USB drives, and make up copies on multiple drives at the same time.
The VR mini rocks, but SPP takes the need for raid out of the equation for many uses.

I needed to do the exact same thing.
I experimented with a Matrox MXO2 PCI adapter and it works great.
