Sorry about that . Panasonic 1400. We black and code the first few minutes and then when we try and layback using the DVCPROHD 720 30p setting we do not get an y image.
We are using firewire. Our video select is 1394.
Sequence is 720 30p. -
Yep. As there is no viable tape based option for the B Camera, we are going to have to work with P2

Thank you for your response. We put the p2 clips in a sequence and then output to tape via HD SDI using the Kona 2 card. We were having difficulty outputting to tape via firewire, so switched to HD-SDI. However we are trying to digitize from the tape using firewire but it is not digitizing 720 30p , it is digitizing 720 59.94. Suggestions

The footage i have is 1080 24 psf and i have to output to tape 1080i . Can this be done using the firewire route?

Thanks for the reply. This means that the timecode between audio and video is not going to match up. One of our assistant editors digitized part of the footage at 59.94. Will we be able to cut a sequence with footage digitized at 30 fps and 59.94?
