720 30 PN Footage output to tape
Hello all,
I have been trying to output P2 footage shot 720 30PN to tape. I was told that i can use Edit to tape in Final Cut and output the footage 720 30p. However this is not working. I do not get any picture when i output to tape. Could this be because they are not shooting 720 30P but 30PN (Native mode ).

Outputting to what deck? Did you black and code the first few minutes first? What are the deck settings?
I’ll be doing this tomorrow….720p30 P2 footage needing to go to DVCPRO HD tape so they can capture it for use on an Avid.

Sorry about that . Panasonic 1400. We black and code the first few minutes and then when we try and layback using the DVCPROHD 720 30p setting we do not get an y image.
We are using firewire. Our video select is 1394.
Sequence is 720 30p. -
I set Video Input to 1394…the SYSTEM FORMAT to 720p. I can see the image on the monitor…then I press RECORD and press play on the timeline. (This was P2 footage that needed to be output to tape)
No issues.
Got the SYS FORMAT to 720P?
