It’s more intermittent noise like a bad audio connector.

I choose best dvd, two pass VBR and change the bit rate to the highest in the compressor. Then I took the MPEG2 to DVD SP.
So, I can’t do anything about the quality unless I burn the footage on a bluray, right.

I matched the timing of the Q-T with the compressor bit rate, then I took the MPEG2 to DVD SP. DVD SP failed, and gave me error message says: video bitrate is high. Also, the quality looks worse than DV footage.

Hi Nick,
The codec is: XDCAM EX 1080i60 (35Mb/s VBR) integer (big endian), timecode. Unfortunately, I don’t have the MPEG 4 files anymore.
