Really….? I notice this little error everytime I use AFX. I’ll make a screen capture video and post it on youtube.

Thanks for the tippers. I simply had a little 3d country scene with a street, trees, houses, clouds, mountains and was just looking for something that might capture the beauty of a sunrise allow me to show some bursting rays of sunlight appear off the horizon and then through the trees to be more and cast its glory on to this seen.

I tried shine but didn’t seem to do what I wanted. Maybe settings were so great. I’ll play a little more. thanks..

Actually tried this but didn’t work.

I nested two different comps, with different framerates into a master comp, but they didn’t show their respective framerates. Instead, it just played the master comp’s frame rate.

Any further advice on this one?

This was actually my mistake, sorry. It wasn’t really the shadow at all. However, what irritated me was the fact that the horizantal layer always seems to be too dark, darker than it should be.

Thanks for the immediate feedback. I just realized that this issue has bothered me for a long time. I used to turn off “accept lights” cause shadows were always so dark.

As matter of fact, my good graphics card just broke a few weeks ago and a new one is coming today. With this built in graphic card I have (Ati 1250) I see in the open GL settings it says everything is supported including shadows except for antializing and motion blur.

Do you think I should reinstall AFX or what till the new graphics card comes in?

    thanks~!!

Well….I looked through the photoshop cs3 folders and somewhere in the scripts section I actually found the “enableallfiltersforsmartfilters” script. So that was my first clue. Then I opened up photoshop and went into the scripting section I found and browsed to the script in question and clicked on it. It appears to have worked. But I’ll see if this sample video all renders out. I really hope so, because I think these photoshop filters look way better than AFX filters.

I think that you should make a new thread with that discussion.
I usually AFX so am not sure. How to improve on your car footage. If you painted each frame, am not sure how you could improve on that. I guess you need to have a high level of painting skill.
