On another note last night I decided to update the all software on my G5 QUAD , FCP 5.1.1.( 13 h long )before the arrival of my FCS 2 in just about 2 or 3 weeks.
I then noticed that now the system update has on the list FCP 5.1.4 ,what happened to updates 2 & 3? Are now included in 5.1.4..

I`m currently editing a short so for what I understood, once I update the software I`ll have to work with my project on the new version.
I don`t have any preferences saved so it should not bo bother me at all to finish the project on the 5.1.4 ….

With a G5 QUAD and FCS 2 it`ll be possible to capture HDV from a SONY Z1 and convert to Pro Res 422 via firewire ?

Why I edit in HDV you ask… well it look ok no artifacts or bands etc etc. not at list at this stage anyway, But I`m eager to try your suggestion.

I have ordered a FCS 2
I`m not sure what or if I have a AJA Kona series installed. I did though purchase a G5 QUAD with 4.5 GB of RAM and 1TB memory. All of this and I still need a AJA KONA card to be able to work in PRO RES right?
