I did a one handed clap on that one (forehead slap). Yes, I see how it works now!

    Ahh….

Slight clarification…when you say split video you mean…

  • Have you tried converting that file into a different type (like XVID or quicktime?).

You may be better off trying a different codec

Ahhh yes… Well thanks for the tips. I will keep my eyes open!

For the record, the media manager is the bomb! Is there a tool like this for a organizing your hard drives? That would insane!

For the record I am now getting a drobo and maxing out my video work:) The next thing I need is a second monitor. I definitely need more room to work with vegas. Too annoying trying to squeeze everything

    Thanks Tom!

Worked perfectly! Didn’t notice you could set the stroke to inside!

    Many thanks!

  • No idea what happened, no changes where made between one successful render to the next as far as I can tell…

HOWEVER, I found a solution. I changed the frame rate from 29.997 to 30 (or higher) and it worked again. No idea why it works, but it does….

    UPDATE!!!!!!!!

The issue was the formating. Sony Vegas cannot use TIFF…BUT, if you render as a PNG you do not get the background.

    Thanks for the help!

    JIM!!!!

I could kiss you! Thank you so much, your modified instructions worked perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ohhh this is great!!!!!

You have no idea how much this means to me, I was losing sleep over this haha! Thank you Jim

(and thanks to Julie and the other posters for their efforts!!!!)

I do have one TINY question left (if it’s not to much to ask) about the transitions. They don’t seem to take up the whole screen. There is a think bar at the top and bottom that still shows the clip behind. Is there a way to expand the transition clip so to get rid of the bars at the top and bottom?
