I have a last question in mind:

how to assign different hues in different areas ? In the video I have posted, the keys on the keyboard have a different hue than the hands playing (blue hands), which have a different hue than the knobs on the keyboard… and there’s some kind of magenta stripes…

How to make a footage colourful like in the examples I have mentioned? (00:14 and 00:15)

Thank you Kalle! 🙂 I tried it on old footage and it worked well. I will definitely use a green screen on future projects and key the background. It is better for girls with hairy heads ;P

Just have a last question:

in the same video that I posted, how to do the effect from 00:14 to 00:15 ?
Those 3 frames of band members, they are not just rotoscoped (or keyed) , there is a footage “inside” each one of them…

After I rotoscoped, I put the track matte as Luma… and put other footage above it…
but I did not get the “colourful look”

Am I missing something?

I figured it out! I added key-frames for the Mask Path

I really appreciate your advice (Better to think it through so the learning sticks rather than be told… especially when you’re so close.)
