I’m wondering how to reveal lyrics in After Effects (Arabic lyrics from right to left)
like in this video (at 0:19)

The easiest way is to use the linear wipe effect, though it’s not the most “realistic” You can also use the typewriter effect and reverse directions. If you are looking for the best results, you will need to use masks and the stroke effect: use masks and the stroke effect.
