    Hi

I was wondering how to animate pictures in this style:

How to do it in after effects? Is there a template that allows me to do it fast? Do I need a software other than after effects?

    Thanks in advance 🙂

    Regards,
    Anthony

That is basic position animation and the Card Wipe transition.

    Thanks Michael
But it looks so time consuming and complex to do. Because each second, many photos are being animated, masked, …etc
Isn’t there a way to do it fast?

    Thanks in advance

    Yes. Just do it.

That stuff doesn’t take very long. I would recommend doing your first edit in Premiere Pro. That way you can time things to the music, lay out the images, and do some basic movement (if you wanted to) with real time previews. Then come into AE to do the more complicated parts.

In After Effects you can set up an animation preset with the settings you want on Card Wipe to get yourself most of the way there and then just tweak things for different images.
