Make sure you do a few things:

Focus and stay focused

use a rig or tripod, handheld looks very amateur

Use adjust Picture Styles, like Flat colors so you have room to color correct.

Great Lenses, L series, or don’t buy plastic cheapies.

good audio is a must!

be aware of shutter speed at half of your framerate ie: 24p shutter 1/50th (smooth movement)
thats a start.

Everything in 3D will make everything complex for no reason. Looks cool for Tron, but not Sitcoms.
The vast majority of people have problems focusing with one lens, let alone 2.

Besides, that Sony is still not as great as the Canon products, more 3rd party gear, better lenses, etc.

Great question if it has the torque for cine lenses as well. I heard that a few times.

Jam Sync in post, you can use Pluraleyes if you want to use the multiclip workflow, make sure to shoot in the same framerate across the board.

The most you can do is Shoot timelapse or image sequences in RAW, then edit in PS or Aperture.
No video. That is on the wish list for the next batch of DSLR, only RAW video format is RED or ARRI Alexa.

select the clips
Try using CMD+L to Marry clip together
Shift+L is a temporary function.

CMD+L will merge clips Audio and video together.

Also, you can take a class at an Apple Training Center, the amount of knowledge that comes from a 3 day
class is amazing.

If you simply drag a sequence icon into the timeline and thats one way or select all then Opt+C
you will see a dialog box with settings from there.

Nests can lead to rendering, just make sure to try and not stretch the clips out to a different frame size than the original.

Also, if you Opt+click on a sequence you can open it in the viewer like its a single clip.

You change the Audio Playback Quality in the User Prefs>under the general tab.
also change the sequence settings to match the clips audio. 32,000khz

You can also, make a slideshow in iphoto and export to a QT conversion
or…….
Use Preview(Generic Image preview app)
open all images> select all images in the sidebar, then choose under Tools menu>adjust size by pixels
type in your frame size. (leave at 72 DPI)

Save all (only if you back up the originals, this will change the original file sizes)

Save as: is one by one.
