Thanks for your advice. Is there a way to resize them in FCP or do I need to take them back into Photoshop?

I’ll check in to increasing my RAM as well.

    Have a great day.

Pixel sizes vary but approximately 2000 x 3000 and approximately 6 MB. I don’t need to zoom in much.

I have 2 GB DDR SDRAM.

Should I make them smaller TIFFs?

I went into capture settings and changed the “limit capture now” box to 60 minutes. I think that should work?

That was it! I unchecked the anamorphic box and it got rid of the letterbox. However, in the viewer it looks like unsqueezed anamorphic and the “fit to window” comes up 104%. I unchecked the “show as sq. pixels” and it looks ok. Is this right?

Any idea how the anamorphic column got checked in the browser?

    Thanks for your help.

That did it. I guess FCP got as confused as I get sometimes. Thanks.

I actually have two external hard drives on the computer. Forgot to mention those.

Here is where I think I messed up. The media is saved in a folder in the capture scratch on an external hard drive. The sequence and the PTVTmpfiles are being saved in a folder under Render File on the Media HD on the system.

    What do I do?
