Yes you can do this using the BCC AVX MultiFilter controls. I’m at home this week and don’t have a system, but I think I can remember. You apply the Blur to the Avid title (don’t Alt or Option-apply) and select the Apply to Title Matte checkbox (in the Title Matte parameter group). If the Directional Blur has an Opaque Source checkbox (I think it does) deselect that as well. Then select the Multifilter Start checkbox. Everything looks weird for a moment, but that’s okay. Then Alt-drag (Windows) or Option-drag (Mac) the Glow and select the MultiFilter End checkbox. Now everything should look correct. You don’t have to select the Apply to Title Matte checkbox for the second filter. I may have gotten some names a little off, but they’re all in the Title-Matte parameter group.

To map different media to each face of the cube, you need to click the Multi/Single-input icon on the cube track so that it is in Multi Input mode. This icon appears as an “M” when it is in Multi-input mode and an “S” when it is in Single-input mode. In Multi-Input mode, you can choose the media that you want for each face by pressing hte Meida icon and choosing from the menu that appears. You will need to drag the FCP tracks into the Input wells in the Filter tab.
I’m not sure about the 16X9 issue. There is a 16X9 menu option in General tab of the preferences window.

Avid won’t recognize effects packages with different names as being the same thing, so the Red Directional Blur is not interchangeable with the BCC Directional Blur. However, if you have the same version of Red installed on both systems, the effect should open seamlessly. The AVX architecture is pretty fussy about plug-ins having the same names, so make sure that both versions of Red are identical; if one were say 2.5.2 vs 2.5.3, the Avid won’t recognize that they are identical.

I’m not sure why the compression doesn’t work, you may want to email Boris support. But the transition levels is probably one of two issues. First, in the Local Project tab of Red’s Preferences window is a checkbox for Generate Safe Levels. If this is deselected, Red will allow values across the full 0-255 range. When it is deselected, values are limited to the safe range of 16-235. I’m not sure if FCP limits you to 16-235, but if it does and this preference is deselected then you would see a difference in levels.
Second, Final Cut Pro doesn’t support YUV color space for plug-ins. So Red transitions render in RGB. This can cause color shifts when you create transitions in YUV projects. To fix this, you may want to select the Always Render in RGB checkbox in the FCPs Sequence Settings window.

You need to nest the objects inside a 3D container and then set the rendered to Z-space or 3D model, depending on the shape of the track.

BCC 2.0 does not support Tiger as it cwas released long before there was a Tiger. That said, you could try it and see what happens. A new version of BCC, 4.0, will be released sometime soon (probably December 1). You may want to download the Trial version of BCC 4 (which has been qualified for Tiger) when it comes out.
