How do I get objects to intersect or share same z space
I’ve tried 3d and title containers to no avail.
One object just sits on top of the other, no matter where the z position is set.
I’ve seen this done in Boris, what am I doing wrong?

Do you mean intersect in the same way as is described in the Boris tutorials located in the Boris reference guide? Passing through each other?

I may be wrong on this, but I thought that intersecting planes was a feature exclusive to Red…I don’t use fx, only Red.

You need to nest the objects inside a 3D container and then set the rendered to Z-space or 3D model, depending on the shape of the track.

Thank you Anne. Your tip did the trick !! I was doing the 3D container already, but for some reason it was defaulting to 2D composite, instead of 3D model.
Oh well. Thanks. Z-space render made it all disappear, how and why does it difers from 3D model.
My container consisted of two layers, 2D text mapped around a cylinder primitive, that I made invisible, and an extruded EPS loge from Illustrator, which was spinning inside of the the text, which was rotation the other way.
Just curious about when to use z-space and when to use 3D model?
