I just tried it: does not work on an AL.
Workaround would be nest the section and add warp to nest.

The exam is not difficult but the test covers an awfull lot of subjects. And it also includes AME
I dont know if CIB is the way to go. I think that is more for beginners.
I learned the manual front to back and back to front.
And serveral years of hands experience with the program you will be fine.

If its the i frame only mpeg codec in the sequence is used you dont check the Use Preview feature.
I frame only mpeg is a preview codec and of lesser quality.
If its proress its ok to use that feature.

Match sequence settings as in right click on clip in Project Window/Make sequence from clip?
What color is the bar above your footage?

In this case dont use external drive but a second internal one.
Clean out your C drive. Put the music on another drive. C’drive is only for programs and while you are at it move your Documents folder to a second drive.
Also clean out your media cache (preferences) and move it to the second drive.
See if that will help.

By unistalling a program the project files and all the assets do not get removed from the hdd. So its out there somewhere.
