Set .wav files on your system to associate with Audition.
In the timeline the audio you want to edit Render and Replace, the Edit Original. That will get it into Audition.

That is correct.
Pal ís 720×576, period. Same goes for NTSC.
The only thing you can change is the Aspect Ratio.

Right click on the clip and it should say Edit in Audition.

I am not aware of such a plug-in.
Premiere will rasterize everthing on import.

For 5.1 output from Premiere you need the Surcode-plugin.
See audio tab in the export settings.

OK, AVCHD Lite is a subset of AVCHD and limited to 720p.
If you feel that strongly about smartrendering make a feature request.
