Just for fun I rendered using prores 4444. No issues with alpha channel.

I’m using Sierra. CS6 works fine there. However I have experienced the same problem from mountain lion days.

Somehow the alpha channel is coming as a black layer.

You asked me What not Why.

However, I generally use a UV blur on my footage before using it further. And there is no way, per my knowledge that I can do it outside AE.

I want to change the file to YUV space. So RGB now maps to YUV, Red is now Y channel.

I want a transformation on separate YUV channels, and then convert them back to RGB.

Mike, Do you blend it in with the original footage ?
So 2 adjustment layers with these settings and a blend mode of say 50% ??
