Well, I better get a RAID set up with space for a lot of hard drives. My client has footage shot over the course of 20 years.

Right click on the video event on your timeline and click “Disable Resampling”, which makes Vegas drop frames instead of trying to blend them to create slow motion.
Though I haven’t used it, a plugin like Twixtor is supposed to smooth out slow motion footage.

Audacity is good. Look up Bill Meyers’ YouTube video on how to use it with Vegas. And it’s free.
I’ve started to rely more on Track EQ and bring up 1 a little to the right on the graph and bring down 4 a little to the left. It worked great when I shot video that had audio coming straight from the t3i with a videomic that has lots of hum.

It seems like you’d have to duplicate the track and then delete whatever you don’t need.

I tried two cables. The first one (which I had for a while and I used on a separate hard drive enclosure) didn’t show any hard drives, and the other one, which came with the docking station, shows one drive. I don’t know what striped together means, but probably not.

What are your render settings, and what are you using to play the video? That seems like it shouldn’t be a problem.

Ugh, so many of their products aren’t available for Vegas. Looks like the only thing I’ll get is Plural Eyes.

Seems like you could just make a frame, use some screws, flat metal panels, and build your own barn doo-oh, no jerry rigging. Uh, good luck.
