Look up keylight inner and outer mask tutorials. You could, possibly, pull a key that protects this hue of green, erode the edge, and then use it to feed another instance of keylight to where it becomes a mask that blocks the inner portion of your subject. You can then pull a more subtle key for the edges/background.

Well after a little google searching, it’s not directly related to RED footage. The suggestion on the Adobe forum was to make sure any hardware drivers for nVidia were the most up to date. Having up to date drivers for the Kona 3 shouldn’t hurt either.

Quickest way is to put the play head at the start of your composition and in the menu, go to Composition > Save RAM preview. It will process the RAM preview and then prompt you to save the uncompressed video file somewhere.
Otherwise you can see if clicking on your clips selecting Time > Time Remap and setting it to 50% has the same effect.

Not sure why you’re posting in the Premiere forum… GET OUT!
Just kidding. If you’re confident that the video file was compressed in the right format then:
– Burn the disc at a lower speed. Burning a disc at high speed can introduce errors that some players/drive have an easier time correcting than others
– Are you using DVD+R? Your DVD player may not be compatible, especially if it’s older. DVD-R is the preferred “universal” format.

If you have After Effects, you can use clip/timeline markers and I would imagine a Google search would reveal some scripts to automate it. After Effects also has some expression control for audio amplitude.
In After Effects, you can go to File > Export > Premiere project. The markers do come over to Premiere.
In Premiere, there are no plugins that do what you need to do. After speaking with a plugin developer about a different use for timeline markers, Adobe doesn’t allow plugins to add markers to clips or timelines.

Well if it’s against black, you could use the luma key effect without much fuss. It also affords you some edge control in a different way than the Extract effect.

Not really. Premiere isn’t scriptable. I would suggest going to Edit > Keyboard shortcuts and assign a keystroke to the marker function so you can watch and tap the marker key to the beat.

In the export dialog, did you select “RGB + Alpha” and “Million Colors+”? PNG should support transparency, so if it transparent in After Effects then the output should be as well.
The usual settings are “RGB” and “Million Colors” which is why I ask.
