so, are you saying set audio tracks 1-4 to pan left and 5 & 6 to pan right?

i knew there was a simple way to do this without dealing with audio bus, etc.

OK, so i use compressor. i select mpeg2 and switch NTSC value to PAL. what audio setting should i use? in a quick test, the audio track ends up a little but longer than video.

also, how can i test this disc if at all? i need a PAL system, right?

i have a similar issue…

i have nested sequences in order to drop timecode generator filter on the sequence. clients have reviewed the sequences and sent notes back.

the trick is once i cut any part of the sequence the timecode resets to 0 at that point… making it impossible to find my next edit point.

is there some way to lock the timecode?

i understand 16sec = 81mb 1min = 304mb 5min = 1.52gb is that not high? Am i doing something wrong?

frame size is correct… files are no longer rendered…hooray! BUT files are huge… 16 second clip is 81MB…that can’t be right.

please help if you can.

my fcp system is set to

DVNTSC 48KHz (standard/easy setup)

mpeg streamclip doesn’t offer that exactly… they offer

APPLEDVPRO50-NTSC. Are those two equavalent?

I am using dv ntsc 48khz – I export movie from dvd as dv ntsc and still when I open it in FCP it appears unrendered…

what about the sound settings?
