The original tape has 13 minutes of recording on it. There are at least 20+ areas of loss audio that range from 1-3 seconds. It starts almost immediately on the tape and continues through out. There were no problems on previous or following tapes. I just couldn’t understand why dubbing through the firewire cable and creating new TC didn’t get rid of the issue with the DSR-20 stopping the capture process. I think I mentioned that it stopped with the logging or just capturing on the fly.
Maybe I will take it in and have it professionally cleaned.

I am not that artistic and was looking for different frames already made. Some wood, some gold, designed frames, etc.
I have seen some in programs like PhotoSuite (I think) where you import your digital stills and place them in different digital frames and print them out. I am going to use these in FCP and place video in them.

June 1, 2005 at 8:36 pm in reply to: turn audio wave form on / off in timeline as neededThis may be a record for me. Go to the Video Transition and open Iris/Oval iris. Drop this transition on your edit point. Double click the transition on the timeline and a window opens. Click on Feather and use the Border slider to set the amount of feathering you want on the iris transition.
Is this what you are looking for?

May 29, 2005 at 2:20 am in reply to: Sorry to post twice but I need some help on thisThe two audio tracks didn’t show up at any setting on the timeline or in the Viewer until I deleted all of the waveform files in Final Cut Pro Documents. I guess it was getting bogged down refreshing the screen.

Peter I was just reading the PS7 image information. Costco said they scan at a minimum of 300 dpi. Beats me. I know it just looks pretty good how ever they scan it.

Pete here is one of the scanned slides. PS7 says this about the image:
Pixel dimensions 1818W x 1228H, Document size 25.5 Inches wide x 17.056 Inches high and resolution 72 pixels/inch.
Scanned at Costco and 29 cents worth.
Let me know.
