Hi George- you know, I think it is rolling shutter effect.. not stabilization. Youtube is full of rolling shutter helicopter clips that look just like mine *sigh*

So again: please forgive me another silly question

Why bother setting the TEMPLATE to match the file settings (60fps, no interlace etc)

Why NOT just render to the desired specification? (60i, etc)

hey so – if I was to record some slowly moving nice out-of-focus objects in the foreground (with a blue screen background?) and then overlay them with my sharp, in focus subject… would that probably do something to that renaissance track? But then there’s all the gentle mirroring going on and stuff, I guess the sony mirror event effect could possibly do some of that… gosh i don’t know 🙂

Also I notice in the video there seem to be mirrors and all sorts of reflections and things going on, all with that nice rotating gentle motion… quite nice overall

update: i gave up and reinstalled W7 🙂 All running nicely once again. Although I never did solve the problem of my youtube renders having a green line on the RHS when uploaded
