  • Anyone remember “Safe” rendering settings for two old Popcorn hours?

Hi everyone, slightly odd question. Anyone remember rendering material for use on OLD popcorn hours?

I am compiling a bunch of family movies (variety of 6yr old sony 1920×1080 AVCHD .mts files ) for playback on my parent’s A110 and A200 popcorn hours.

Any recollection regarding best settings, bit rates etc?

    Currently I have Vegas 11/x64
I’ve tried mainconcept BluRay 1920×1080, Sony BluRay 1920×1080
But when loading the video the screen just returns to the menu once it tries to play the file.
I’ve tried the file loaded on local HD and via NFS.

Realize this message is a long shot!

    Andy,

I have a Popcorn Hour (PCH-A210) and I use the following.

    For Vegas:
    Main Concept AVC/MP4
    Main
    Progressive

    I prefer to use Handbrake:
    Level 3.0
AAC for audio or AC-3 pass-thru
