Vegas Pro 11 is already installed… etc etc!
Guys, I realize this subject has been done to death elsewhere (especially in https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/921716) but I’ve tried everything and no progress.
11.0 (penultimate latest build) was fine until the other day when it refused to run. So i decided to install. I’ve followed all the instructions to:
unistall
delete /sony/ files
delete sony registry entries
remove anti virus
remove dot net
remove c++ distributablesNoteworthy things:
1. it *WILL* let me install Vegas 11 32 bit. I am 64bit Win7. Kinda defeats the purpose with lots of RAM 🙂
2. it will let me install 64bit version 8.1 (very useful!!)
3. I also did registry clean
4. I;ve unistalled / deleted everything I can think of!! Lack of dotnet and C++ has crippled most stuff 🙂Anybody every crack this issue without a reimage of W7?

update: i gave up and reinstalled W7 🙂 All running nicely once again. Although I never did solve the problem of my youtube renders having a green line on the RHS when uploaded
