Vegas 13 to a new Vegas 13 install:

I tried this and it does pull all templates however it doesn’t star favorites.

Looking closer there are near dupes in my favorites.settings file.

I recreated my stars and now have this:

Something amiss like some stars got lost in the settings file and then cause a problem moving over to the new install. I had to recreate manually but would have been nice to transfer it seamlessly. Maybe the favorites.settings file needs a sanity check against whats in the app to sync up occasionally?

I tried both a 2 year old Samsung and a 3 month old newer Sony player.

Seems like a basic function when watching a disc… You go into a video, decide you don’t like it, and want to go back to the main menu without watching all 2 hours of it. This was a standard feature with authoring DVDs and I am surprised Sony forgot to make it work with Blu-ray! 😮

I will be curious to hear back on the Asus P9X79 DELUXE. I am looking at that one myself. I’d like to get into a lower wattage CPU if possible (reduce heat and $$), however I am not sure how that will affect processing power even if they are rated the same. In theory it shouldn’t, but who knows.

SSD and RAID 0 combo. That’s what I am doing too! Thumbs up!

I suppose that means my Gforce 9600GT needs shut off too. 🙂 Seems like this feature should be “hardware assist” with *assist* being a keyword. Assist would help render the extras on top of the normal CPU operations, not slow things down.
