I’ve tried converting the clips to Apple Pro Res in MPEG stream clip, it still won’t show any video- only audio.

Where to from here?

I am running OS X 10.5.8

Quicktime Pro 7.6.4

And when I click “Apple I” on my files to get their info, the codec listed is “DVCPRO HD (720p60)”

Trashed all my preferences- and I’m still having the same problem.

Answers to other questions :

– Are you using Snow Leopard or Leopard?

Leopard.

– Is the codec on the P2 DVCPRO50?

It is set to DVCPRO HD 720p60.

– Are the screens white when you try other type of footage?

I just tried bringing in some mini-DV footage and I have the exact same problem.

Thoughts?

Yeah the files open just fine in Quicktime, just not in FCP 7.

So I’ve tried all that. No dice.

Now, I’ve re-imported everything on a friend’s computer into Final Cut 5 and it’s all the right speed.

As soon as I took it to my machine, and updated the files to run in FCP 6- the speed issues are back.

This is killing me. Any insight?

I shot at 60fps, FCP easy setup for 60 then when I highlight the clip in my browser and go to TOOLS framer converter- nothing happens. The app just sits.
