The main part of Magic Bullet is the 60i to 24p converter and the excellent deinterlacer. If your already shooting 24p the mbe editor will give you the cool color correction filters with the looks suite and the film damage effects. I’m not sure what codec the kona card uses but as long as it renders 10bit the color correction should be adequate. Otherwise color correcting in After effecets might be a good idea cause the 16bit color area and the control for multi-res comp settings so you color correct less data while still maintaining true color. Sometimes its better to get quicker feedback, although FCP aint bad, the Look suite can be a bit of a hog.
