Setting preview area
If I have a 30 second comp. and I set 5 seconds as the beginning of my preview by hitting “B”, and set the ending preview at 15 seconds and hit “N” for end of preview, why then when I play it back it plays all 30 seconds. No matter whether I hit 0 or not, or set it myself at the 5 sec point, it plays all the way through.

check the box in the time controls window theres a check box that says preview from current time.
is that it?

Yeah, that shoul do it.
just to be clear:that has to be UN-checked.
