Try importing your premiere project into a blank premiere project, save that and then import that project into AE. Don’t specify a sequence just import all.

Try purging your prefs if that doesn’t work. hold ctrl, alt and shift durning ae startup.

Do some tests with premiere just make a new project import 1 piece of footage make a couple of edits and then try importing that in AE. Maybe your premiere project is just too big.

Let us know what happens.

Well technically… yeah. But you’d be better off buying one or even making one from your local fabric store.

Here is a one at a good price (about $60 bucks), but you can shop around.

It’s worth it to get even a 6×6 ft green screen since the time you save will easily pay for itself. Not to mention you’ll be practicing industry standards and yeild better results.

We have a system very similar to yours,

Athlon dual core 4200 with a 7800gt and the systems works very well, no problems at all.

Have you tried a differn’t video card. Have lates video card drivers? What makes you think it’s the processor and not something else?

Also could be bad ram? try just 2 gigs and see what happens. I’ve run into issues where the ram boots up but that the ram generates errors during render.

Also what about lates motherboard drivers, this is very important! As well as athlon dual cores have an update over at the tech page:
