I was wrong with my first comment. PPro doesn’t seem to export .scc any more.
So select the caption stream and export that one as .srt file.On the web you’ll find a lot of free utilities to convert .srt to .scc files to be used as captions.
There are also tools which allow to convert .srt to Encore script files for subtitles. If you are on Mac You can use my TitleExchange. The free version allows to convert 50 titles at a time, you have to split larger files and rejoin them.Subtitles are often easier to handle compared to caption when there is more than 1 language.

If they are made with the CC tool just export as .scc file.
If they are made with the Title tool it’s complicated. Copy the titles to a new timeline and export as EDL. Then export all titles. Extract the text from the titles. Together with the EDL create an Encore text file.– Andreas

If you do 1.5 time scale you will get a slomo.
The other way would be merging frames like said above. Merge 2 with 3, 5 with 6 etc.
I personally wouldn’t drop frames – like every third one.– Andreas

You may have a look at ScriptEditor & Image Events.
With a little AppleScript you can scale, crop etc. 100s of images within a few seconds and save them to another file.If you’re “XML safe” you even convert your FCPX timeline to be optimized.

You might apply the timecode effect, it always starts at 0, it’s big, you can turn it on/off

If you’ve read the entire thread you should know ????As mentioned by Noah and me give my X-Title tools a try.
X-Title Extractor allows to convert to .srt, .vtt, .xml (DCP), .stl and Adobe Encore.I was wrong with my note above about .stl (Spruce) – it’s not accepted by Amazon. For the formats look here:

For Amazon you don’t need .dfxp/.ttml they do accept more formats. The Spruce Text List .stl would be the easiest.
Just out of curiosity:
If you have already have done the subs in FCP … I guess at this point I’m just trying to figure out how exactly to get the horde of captions that I already put on my feature to transfer from FCPX (where I made the captions in) … – why the hell do you want to do them in Kolibri again?Andreas

Sugar FX subtitles plugin can export to SRT.[/Sam Lee]Amazon accepts far more formats. Problems might be caused by “illegal characters”. Example ellipses character “…“ compared to 3-character “…”.
SugarFX by “default” acts to have burned in subtitles in the various hosts. So you need for example a .SRT (or fcpxml markers) to use SugarFX Subtitle. Editing of those inside the host starts be a bit more convenient starting by version 4.0.
Zeitanker Annotation Edit or my X-Title Extractor are the only apps available to work with standard Motion Templates.[Sam Lee]I’m shocked to find out the enormous cost for a critical evaluation video monitor. In order to Netflix qc requirements, you’ll need at least a $30K for Sony BVM X300, PVM X550 monitors in order to detect pretty much all of the video flaws. While I don’t think “video flaws” are any kind of reason to reject a internet video one might to think about subtitles as graphics.

Both apps work fine for the Belle Nuit generic format.
The question obviously what are your “Belle Nuit subtitles” ?
