never had this play forward/backwards wave problem. my system is running really stable, had about 5 crashes since january 2011!

(10.6.7 hacky with double gtx480, internal 8tb raid)

hmmm, never had that issue.

have you tried without stills, audio etc. as well?

and: try updating to 8.2, you can even export from 8.2 and import to 8.1…

ok, intersting. so far it seems to be quite the same as the wave mapping, which i love by the way.

but: whats about the additional side panels? aren’t they yet supported? will there be buttons to access the different curve types (hue vs hue, hue vs sat etc.). i miss those on the wave.

and most important: will i see the numbers on the elemt display somewhere (blur etc.) will it jump to the appropriate windows (eg the wave doesnt jump to the blur tab etc)!

and: will the wave mapping be updated sometime?

would be awesome to get further infos.

you should go to the config page and change the debayer setting to half or quarter for grading withour red rocket (depends an your cpu).

or: go the dpx way. which means render out original resolution dpx sequences with the raw settings of your choice baked in. then the proxy manager can help you, it only works with dpx so far.

and what video-card are you using for avid? i guess bmd extreme3d and avid 6!?

what are your avid project-settings? 701 or rgb?
